Emergency First Aid at Work.

This course is a lifesaver course and recognised from the 1st October 2009 by the HSE. Minimum of 6 hours of training which leads to a certificate of achievement. Training for the First Aider Low Hazard Workplaces.

HSE First Aid at Work

In Sept 2009 HSE guidelines for First Aid in the Workplace are changing so we have already started to get ready for this. To read more about the changes click here.

From October 2009, HSE First Aid at Work will be a three day course. First Aid training is required by Law for all companies and businesses.

HSE First Aid at Work Refresher

A 12 hour refresher course over 2 days for those who require re-certification for the full HSE First Aid at Work.

Basic Skills Refresher for HSE First Aid at Work / HSE Emergency First Aid at Work.

The HSE "highly recommend" that anyone with a current HSE First Aid qualification attend some form of Basic Skills Refresher once a year to avoid skills fade. We can deliver these for you 'in house', charging expenses only as part of your initial training package or we can help you develop a programme so you can run them yourself in house through your own training department.

Sports First Aid Unit 1 - Emergency Action

Sports First Aid Unit 1 is designed as a stand alone basic first aid qualifcation for those invloved in any aspect of Sport.

Sports First Aid Unit 2 - Incident Management

A stand alone course dealing with incident management and back to play decisions. Sports First Aid Unit 2 is always run as a second day to Unit 1 sports First Aid. If you already hold an emergency First Aid qualification you can join the second day which covers Unit 2 as a stand alone module. If you wish to complete Units 1 & 2 Sports First Aid then all you have to do is sign up for both days.

6 or 12 hour Paediatric First Aid course.  The Paediatric First Aid course is designed for those who might have to identify and manage emergency situations or manage minor everyday occurrences when looking after young children. This accredited qualification meets Ofsted requirements for those working in early years settings and uses the criteria for effective paediatric first aid training found in Appendix 1 of The Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Practice Guidance document.

Automatic Electrical Defibrillation

Defibrillation is well established as the effective therapy for cardiac arrest. The most important determinant of survival being the time from collapse to delivery of the first shock. This course deals with safety issues and operation of Automatic External Defibrillators
