Electrical Defibrillation is well established as the effective therapy for cardiac arrest. The most important determinant of survival being the time from collapse to delivery of the first shock. Today the widespread deployment of Automated External Defibrillators (AED's) is considered a realistic strategy for reducing mortality due to heart disease.

Following the current Resuscitation Council (UK) guidelines, Training 4 Life has developed an Automated External Defibrillators course for those organisations who wish to provide AED cover in their establishment or in a public place.

As part of the training package we can supply most models of Defibrillator depending on your requirements. We can also help you place them in a suitable location in your workplace or public area.

* Brief historical introduction.
* Vital signs & basic life suppport. BLS scenarios.
* Chain of survival. Heart rhythms. AED scenarios.
* Assessment. Dealing with aftermath.
* An easy to follow course manual per person.
* Certificate with valid lifetime of 180 days.
* Modern equipment and training methods.

The cost of the training package can include the price of the unit itself and training for up to 12 people if required. Following your first training course with us, the price of training drops significantly as you will already own the unit.
